This fan game is not set in the tradition ecco style of games but instead is an RPG (Role Playing Game) that is set in the world of ecco. Basically you navigate ecco about the levels using either the mouse or the arrow keys on the keyboard this looks similar to a normal ecco game but just about everything else is different. When you encounter an enemy you enter a battle screen with the enemie(s) in front of you and must select attacks from a menu to use while the enemies do the same. This will be familar to most RPG fans but if you have never played an RPG before it may look a bit confusing, just try the different options and watch what they do to start with, that is the best way to learn. The demo has some in game training which will help as well, To play the game download this file and double click it to start the simple install program that will install the game for you. Once you are in the game use the mouse and arrow keys to move about, to quit you can press ALT+F4, the demo currentlly is short but a lot more is promised by the author soon.
