Hello everyone, I love Ecco! Just wanted to say that first =) I have two qeustions though. On Ecco the Dolphin PC, how do you get past those chains in Marble City? I can't seem to get past them. And for Ecco: DoF Is the Asterite in it? I just wanted to know. Thank you, Miana | ||

To get past the chains you eithier have to find a brick or use the starfish. another thing have you played ecco two that games hellva lot better than number one. next thing ive never played ecco dof but I know the intire story and the asterite isnt in it nor are the vortex. there is something similiar to the asterite called the guardian but thats just a crystal. there are globes which have dolphin power but they arent asterite globes. as for the main enimie it isnt the vortex its creatures called the foe. if that dissappoints you it wont I'm one of the biggest ecco fans there is and this new game should be really relly good. Ecco still morphs also I'd suggest getting the intro video to ecco it explains some of the story |

No asterite in Ecco dof. this time, this time has been replaced by a nice crystal called "the guardian", less charismatic, but nice after all. A great game, play if you can, i enjoyed a lot with it. About the enemies, as Arkonviox says above, are no longer vortex, now are "the foe", but is the same style, you have a foe queen to beat too. |

Oh darn! I liked the Asterite, he was cool. Yes I do have Ecco II. I hate that Floating Medusa level espiecially when it was on hard... Well I better go and work on my Ecco story which has a crummy title. -_-* Miana |

I couldnt help but to hear your working on an Ecco story because...I am too! except mine will one day be a game for PC unfortunatly it will be a while since my programming skills are beginer but eventualy I'll have at least a first level demo realsed at least withen this year or next depending on my time. but anyways could I hear what your stoys about maybe even hear the corny name it cant be any worse than mine which was Tides out of time which sounds like tides of time. (Im gonna change it eventually) |

Ancient Creature: Nautical Rebirth, which is part one of the story. I may change the title though. I'm not too sure about it. I'm still working out the plot for it, but I finished the prologue last night. Now to start work on chapter 1. Bye, Miana |

I overheard you were starting on a story, the name sounds a whole lot better than me,and Arkonvioxs story name combined. I started a story too, im calling mine Ecco the dolphin: Beyond time that takes place 300 years into the 3rd millenium. Yaddah,Yaddah,Yaddah... Good to know people are writing Ecco stories. He deserves to be immotalized!! HEEEHEEHEEE! I had one game idea that would've taken place just past the Tides Of Time, called: Ecco: Return to the Past, err... or was it... Return of the Queen... I can't remember since I tossed the idea forever ago... but hey, oh well! I made my own dolphin hero called Eclipse the Dolphin. She'd have a sorta Yin-Yang lookin' moon and sun on her head... cheap rip off? You decide... wa na naaaa!!! |

well mine is even more of a rip-off, because Miana has the same markings on her head as Ecco, only they're gray in color because Miana is a pure white dolphin. But I agree with you! Ecco does need to be immortalize! His games rule! Miana |

Miana-Oh sure he liked your title, Despite his ignorence over my story. "Yawn.." what an @$$Hole! But i think Anchient creature: Natical rebirth should be the main title for your comic. It sounds a hellava lot better than "Tides out of time" (Arkonvioxs story) And a white dolphin sounds good, but maybe it would be better if it didnt have stars on its head like ecco. Delphi-Could you tell me what your story was going to be about? I see 4 ecco fans already making stories and it wouldnt hurt to have a 5th one.And Correcting Miana...Ecco games kick @$$! |

Well, I was gonna say that Ecco had been living in the future with Trellia (because at the end of the second game he takes off into the tides of time) and the Vortex Queen, though she was put into the past as well, she left one of her creatures behind in Earth's present. That was her daughter (hence the *possible name*, Return of the Queen, if that's what it was), who would then get all ticked about Ecco defeating her mother, then try to destroy the earth again, spawning her young. The Asterite would call Ecco from the future, he'd return to kick ass, and all that (hence the *possible name*, Return to the Past, if that is what I called it, I REALLY can't remember!). However, I added three other main dolphins you could play as, and Ecco would still be the main critter, but these three would've helped him, is all. |

Wht do alot of PPLs stories sound simmilar? Have you read mine yet? And how did you git away with saying ass! They wont even allow me to say C-R-A-P! And i always here that Barbarian guy complaining about it. I feel cheap now. well i think you should continue with the story, perhaps it will deffer from other PPLs. |

Well my story for my game isn't very similar to these other ones but I'm not ready to release any details yet... Generally I don't have a problem with swearing, aslong as your post doesn't have huge amounts for it, if you go overboard however you might get somebody annoyed. |

Delphi - The reason swearwords are sensored is do discourage exessive swearing, with the way things are now, you have to find a new way to spell a swearword to use it this makes it harder than normal to swear so that generally means people only swear when they feel aposolutly have to. (well at least thats the theory) Bloodfin - you are quite right, swearing and ecco just don't fit together. |

WE are all afraid that someone will steal our stories, If you want to hear them then email one of us. I put out my prolue and first epic chapter. And Blackfins is a secret and we only heard he was making one but know one knows anything about it (But im sure from reading his other story its gonnah kick major A....Its all good. |

Oh, okay then (*grin*) you're right. Ecco is the type of game that doesn't need to make you jump and and scream "Oh, &#(K! Why to GOD DID THAT *censored censored*..." all that stuff is junk. I don't know why people say it all the time. It's actually pretty pointless. Right. I won't say anything else around those lines, 'kay? Bloodfin - The 'A' guy's days are getting close to being numbered, if he keeps this up he might just find that be can no longer post on this forum... For the meantime just ignore him. Now as for my story the main reason I'm not saying anything is because my story is the main plot for my game and if everybody knows the story... Well it would trash the game, but I may release the first half of the story in a months time, possibly. but if you liked the current story I have up in the stories page you should love the storyline for my game. |

Yeah Blackfin, i found your story very excellent! At home i have finished mine but im not giving out whats going to happen in the story untill i have finished my comic book of it. So far, ive made 2 pages of comic, but its a start... |

We can expect to see my story hopfully and I mean hopfully soon I will attempt to finish it as long as I dont get addicted to DOF which I just got I'm trying to avoid using the walk through because I believe Im the best there is at video games Oh and the sequel to Ecco DOF I heard was going to be called Ecco online one day arkonviox and his clan will kick everyones ass and if there are orcas in it then watch out for my dark orcas clan of coaurse its just going to be dolphins but then again what am I talking about the game hasnt been made yet. |
